Here is a story with names and circumstances that will be impossible for Cumulus to deny.

1.  What longtime talent was given the axe for the first time in his career after he refused to take 40% of his current salary to work in 2012?  I’ll name names.

2.  The unbelievable thing Cumulus did to him even before he had a chance to give them an answer.  I’m telling you, you won’t think this is possible even from Cumulus.

3.  Two Cumulus henchman rising in prominence you should look out for (in other words, when they come to your city, be afraid).

4.  The botched handling of this 40% salary cut execution – all the details and timeframes.

5.  Cumulus had one more kick in the balls for this talent when he said no to their take it or leave it 40% salary demand – here it is.

6.  How making employees work for less is starting to spread to other areas of Cumulus.  Who could be next?

Bad Breaks -- Good Outcomes

This book is about how some people succeed and others fail when life throws them a curve ball.

It contains example after example of folks who overcame odds by doing something proactive.

That's why two of the best chapters are on jealousy and shame.  Jealousy kills relationships and careers and shame kills self-esteem.  We face no shortage of both in life.  There is a better way not to fall victim.

S#@t happens as the saying goes, but good things happen as well.

They don't come from winning the lottery or necessarily getting your way.  You grasp success from the jaws of defeat.  Steve Jobs had his company stolen away from him by the man he put in charge to run Apple and then by taking a circuitous route, returned to put in perhaps his most productive years with iPod, iPhone, iMac, iPad and iTunes.

The media industry is one big bag of bad luck these days, so you will want to gain a new appreciation for taking bad breaks and making good outcomes.

That's what this book is all about.

Under $9.99 in print or immediate download.
